Paper-free and materials-light business communication training

An online weekend workshop with Ben Dobbs

Intensive business communication training courses, whether on an individual or group basis, can be materials dependent and paper heavy which, while it may give the impression of progress, value of training or of work completed, there is not necessarily a correlation between resources used and progress. Often, the most beneficial and motivational training can be that with the least paper resources used.

Materials-light does not have to mean unplanned or unstructured. Through application of a range of different tools and approaches, engaging, relevant and useful training can be conducted which uses the course trainees as a resource and yields real workplace benefits without being inundated with paper resources. All a trainer needs to do is carry these concepts with them in their mind and utilise them as and when required.

In this webinar, we will look at how trainers can utilise analytical and strategic tools, creative frameworks, coaching approaches, simulations, feedback and reflection, presentations and other key concepts in their training to produce courses that work regardless of the participants’ department or sector.

IATEFL BESIG members and non-members alike are most welcome.
