Tips for teaching business English

A workshop with Vicky Loras

Business English students have a lot of expectations to meet in their classes, due to the requirements they have most of the times from their work, as the business world is increasingly asking people to have a very good command of the English language.

The aim of this session is to share some of the activities I use in our classes, and how they help students not only to improve their language skills, but also gain self-confidence as they go about their daily work and interactions in the business world.

I will be showcasing an idea using words and expressions that can be turned into several other kinds of activities with students, in order to work on all four skills.

In addition, I will demonstrate how these activities can also be extended to General English classes.

During the workshop, teachers will be actively involved and will participate in the activities.
