Breaking out of your Tech Comfort Zone

A workshop with Karen Eini

Now is the perfect time to experiment with new technologies in your Business English lessons.

Very often as Business  English professionals,  we get caught up in the day-to-day grind of teaching our materials in the same old way.  Although we have  different groups and fresh faces each course,  we may, over time, lose  the enthusiasm to creatively  find new ways to engage our learners  and we may start to fall into the realm of professional burnout.

One way to help combat professional burnout is to experiment with new technologies. Renew the excitement of engaging with your students and support  their English language  learning in innovative and effective  ways.  During this workshop you will see  real  examples of  various  free technology resources in action. We will discuss how they  were used and could be exploited   in a range of business English settings from one to one language coaching to  blended Business English courses.

Karen Eini was born and raised in Montreal, Canada. She moved to Israel in 1990 where she began her career in education: teaching English, designing materials and leading  teacher training.
