Conference 2010: Registration

Registration is now open and takes place via the IATEFL website (link below).

Fees are as follows:

Before registering please note:

There are 9 time slots for presentations: six (A to F) on Saturday and three (G, H, J) on Sunday. In each band there are up to 13 presentations on a range of topics and you may choose one presentation only in each time slot.

Lunch is provided and like last year in Poznan it is in the form of a "brown bag" lunch with refreshments. The lunch bags (vegetarian, meat or chicken) can be picked up from 12:35 at the end of session A. You can then either stay in the lunch room or may choose to go with your lunch bag to one of the presentations in session B. You can of course collect your lunch from the lunch room up to the end of the lunch session at 14:00.

In addition to the main conference programme this year’s event also includes three Pre-Conference Seminars on the Friday afternoon between 14:45 and 18:00:

Seminar 1: Business English training: the need to shift from outside-in to to inside-out (Rita Baker)

Seminar 2: Digital Literacies: Theory and Practice (Gavin Dudeney)

Seminar 3: Business English materials in the digital age: what's new? (Pete Sharma)

Interested participants should note that these sessions carry a small extra fee of 15.00 GBP through the on-line registration process. This price will not be added to your online registration fee. It will be a separate additional cost. (If there are spaces still available you will be able to register and pay for these seminars on 19 November 2010 from 14:00 onwards.). On the registration form you will find boxes to tick in each time band – only one choice is possible; when you hover over the slots in each band, speakers' names and workshop titles will become visible.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations before the 21st September 2010 will incur a 50% cancellation charge. Cancellations after this date will not be refunded. All bank charges must be paid by the delegate.
